Licensed in the State of New York and a member of the New York State Bar since 1994, Mr. Gerstman began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx after being appointed by Hon. Robert T. Johnson. There he investigated corporate fraud and corruption cases in addition to prosecuting violent crimes.
Since the founding of Gotham Government Relations & Communications in 2009 the firm has grown to provide an exceptional collection of skilled lawyers, communication experts, and government relations professionals. Incorporating the many facets of advocacy Gotham aids clients through a combination of services that include legislative lobbying, public relations, government relations, and grass roots issue campaigning. As Co-Founding Partner, Mr. Gerstman has been at the forefront of Gotham’s mounting success.
Brad Gerstman is a member of the Education Law Association, the American Bar Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association’s Education Law Committee. In addition Brad remains a strong advocate for children with special needs. He acts as both a co-founder and board member for the Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation, a family organization that provides summer camp experiences to children with physical disabilities. Mr. Gerstman has served as the Long Island Advocacy Chair for Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism advocacy organization. Additionally, he holds memberships on various political committees and is currently a Board member of the Holocaust and Tolerance Center of Nassau County and the Adelphi President’s Council.
