Bradley L. Gerstman has been named to the Nassau Community College Foundation Board of Directors for a two-year term.

Jeffrey S. Morosof, Vice President of Institutional Advancement for the Nassau Community College Foundation said, “We’re very happy to welcome Brad Gerstman to the board and know that his expertise and support will truly benefit our mission of providing educational opportunities for students who might not otherwise be able to attend the college.”

Mr. Gerstman is a member of the Education Law Association and the Nassau County Bar Association’s Education Law Committee.

Gerstman is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau Health Care Corporation and is chairman of the facilities committee where he is spearheading a $400 million makeover of the hospital, clinics, and senior living facility. He is also Vice President and Board Member of the Long Island Medical Foundation. He is also the Long Island Advocacy Chair for Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism advocacy organization, and serves on the executive committee for Autism Speaks’ Long Island Walk.

The Nassau Community College Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation created in 1983 to support the mission of the College by providing an independent avenue to receive philanthropic aid. The NCC Foundation’s primary responsibilities include fund-raising and the distribution of those funds in support of scholarships, academic programs and facilities. The Foundation also supports programs in faculty development, as well as a variety of the College’s cultural and leadership activities.
